Jewel Staite has been cast in a recurring role in Resident Alien, which stars fellow Firefly alumni, Alan Tudyk as Harry, an alien that has crash-landed on earth with a mission to end all human life.

Jewel will join Alan in Season 4 of the series as Julie Gardner, an FBI Agent who arrives in town to investigate a series of murders.

Season 4 of Resident Alien will be broadcast on the USA Network and SyFy. A premiere date has not yet been set.
