In a video on her Instagram, Sarah Michelle Gellar revealed the first official casting for the new Buffy the Vampire Slayer show. Ryan Armstrong will play the as yet unnamed Slayer protecting New Sunnydale.
Ryan Kiera Armstrong was born in New York City on 10th March 2010, exactly 13 years after Buffy the Vampire Slayer premiered on the WB! Her dad is actor Dean Armstrong and she has been acting professionally from the age of 7 when she appeared in Netflix’s Anne with E. She has been consistently acting ever since appearing in shows such as American Horror and movies such as Black Widow. Mostly recently she starred in Disney+’s Star Wars: Skeleton Crew.
